We'd just like to let you know that Yorkshire Gold has won two stars in the Guild of Fine Food Great Taste Awards for the second year running. As you can imagine, we're over the moon about it!

The Great Taste Awards are basically the largest and most trusted awards for fine food and drink, and the results are determined through rigorous blind-taste testing by various experts. All of which goes to show that winning two stars from them is no mean feat. The judges said our luxury blend was 'bright, rounded and delivered freshness'.

To mark the occasion, we're doing two things. The first is a competition - we're giving away a whole case of Yorkshire Gold (that's 10 boxes of 80 tea bags!) via our facebook page. For a chance to win, all you have to do is post a comment telling us why you love Yorkshire Tea before 12pm next Wednesday, 22nd September 2010. (You can see our T&Cs here.)

There's no other criteria - funny, moving, weird, you name it. We'll just pick the one that we like the most!

And the second thing we're doing to celebrate? Putting the kettle on of course...
