Baffin Island Iced Tea
Posted in Our News.
When polar explorer Antony Jinman contacted us a few months ago to tell us how much he liked our tea and what our business stands for, we were very flattered. And when we found out about his educational work and environmental stance, we were also very impressed.
Let’s send the man some tea, we said. So we did.
“As promised, here are the first pictures for you from my continual expeditions in the polar regions. These pictures were taken on my latest adventures to Baffin Island and my research work into climate change in the arctic. It was a fantastic project collecting lots of film and photography for use in my school outreach work. We are planning a DVD with Plymouth University to be distributed to schools all over the UK in support of my work.
The tea was a life saver on those cold mornings and a big hit with the Inuit people. They seem to love English tea and it was always a great way to make friends by sharing some tea.”
If anyone else out there has some intrepid tea tales to tell, please let us know!
